Year 5 Netball Gala Day
Congratulations to the 25 Year 5 girls who proudly represented our school at the Netball Victoria Gala Day held at Jells Park on Wednesday, 18 March.
In the lead-up to the event, the girls took part in four weeks of lunchtime clinics led by Netball Victoria coaches, where they developed their skills, game sense, and understanding of rules and strategies.
On the day, they competed in a round-robin tournament, confidently showcasing their learning and teamwork on the court. As always, their behaviour and encouragement of one another were outstanding.
Thank you to Netball Victoria for delivering such an excellent program and providing our students with this valuable opportunity. A special thank you also to Mr. Ackerman for his support and assistance to Mr. Stillman throughout the day.

This week!
The Grade 6 school leaders for 2026 were invited to participate in the annual student-
focused leadership conference for primary aged children.
The conference was designed to encourage and promote positive leadership development and provide the opportunity to meet with students leaders from schools across Melbourne and Victoria.
The Grade 4 students, as part of the Health and Physical Education curriculum, participated in a five day Bike Ed course. For the first lesson, children had their bikes and helmets assessed to make sure that they meet the safety requirements. Then during the next three sessions, children learnt about different road rules and signs to obey as well as different bike riding skills. The final session was a ride to Jells Park!
Easter came early at CRPS yesterday! Students were given the opportunity to purchase a Hot Cross Bun from Bakers Delight Vermont South for a morning tea treat!
