A message from Miss Russell

Welcome back to Term 2
Welcome back to all of our students, families and staff. We hope you enjoyed a restful break and are looking forward to a busy and productive term ahead.
As the weather begins to cool, a reminder that students are expected to wear full winter uniforms, when the time comes. This includes:
School jumpers
School jackets
Black shoes
HPS School Hat
Please note that non-school jumpers and jackets are not permitted. Wearing the correct school uniform supports a sense of belonging and pride in our school community, and we appreciate your support in ensuring students are dressed appropriately each day.
We are also very much looking forward to celebrating our wonderful mothers and special people in our students’ lives at the upcoming Mother’s Day breakfast, which will take place on Tuesday morning. It’s always a lovely event, and we encourage families to come along, say hello, and share in the occasion.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another great term ahead.
Sentral Parent Portal
We would like to inform all families of an upcoming update regarding access to the Sentral Parent Portal.
All new families, including our Kindergarten 2026 families, will receive their Parent Portal access key via email next week. This access will allow you to set up your account and is the platform through which your child’s Semester 1 report will be shared at the end of the term.
For all current families (K–6), Parent Portal access keys will be issued on Tuesday 5 May. Please ensure you follow the instructions provided in the email, along with the guidance available via the link below, to successfully set up your account:
https://www.sentral.com.au/portal-help/
Throughout the term, we will also begin uploading previous school reports to the portal. Families will be notified once these have been finalised and are available to view.
If you have any questions or require support, please contact the school office.
Punctuality Reminder
A reminder that school begins at 9:00 am. Students should be at school and lining up when the bell goes. Arriving on time ensures a calm and successful start to the day.
