Wellbeing's Tip: Teenage Development - Understand That Change is Normal
Teenagers are in a session of huge growth – they are moving from dependence to independence, trying to work out who they are and where they belong. Their brains and bodies are going through big changes – mood swings, strong opinions, and risk-taking are all parts of the process. Try not to take it personally when they push back. Support, patience, and consistent love are the key. Click on this link for some helpful tips on helping your child through puberty.

Congratulations!
Christway College is excited to share the outstanding achievements of 3 Kingston students, Daniela Slanina, Mila Ustovytska and Vlad Ustovytski, who recently represented Australia as part of an ensemble in two prestigious international performing arts events.
Our talented students participated in the EF Youth Forum Performing Arts Festival aboard the MSC Cruise departing from Genoa, Italy, and the Best World Dance Group 2025 Contest Finale in Brno, Czech Republic.
We are so proud to announce Daniela, Mila and Vlad successfully competed in both festivals and brought home two First Place Awards in Expressive Dance (6–9 years old) and Show Dance (Mixed Age Group).
Well done Daniela, Mila and Vlad, we are so proud of you!
Safe Driving around the College
As part of our commitment to student safety, we would like to remind the College community of a few safe driving requirements.
Exiting the College via Kingston Road
If you are leaving the College via Kingston Road, please avoid turning right between:
8:00am – 9:30am
3:00pm – 4:00pm
Turning right during these times can lead to traffic build up in the car park, which makes it harder to see students and increases the risk of accidents. It also raises the chances of a collision on Kingston Road itself.
Instead, we ask that you turn left and use the Dingley bypass if you need to head to Boundary, Clayton or Heatherton Roads. We understand that this might add a few minutes to your travel time, however it is the much safer option.
Please also note that U-turns are not permitted at the concrete works or when exiting from Old Boundary Road.
Parking on Old Boundary Road
If you park on Old Boundary Road, please don’t park in the ‘Bus Parking’ zone. This area is clearly signed along the fence and needs to stay clear so buses can safely pull in and students can get off safely, especially when excursions return at the end of the day.
Thank you for your support in helping to ensure our students' safety.
Youth Road Safety
Moorabbin Police wish to advise our school community of an upcoming operation targeting e-scooters and e-bikes. Please read below an information explaining the current road safety rules.
