Preps, What Were You Up to?

100 Days at School

At the beginning of this term, our wonderful Prep students reached a very special milestone – 100 Days of School!

To celebrate, students came dressed as 100-year-old versions of themselves, complete with grey hair, walking sticks, cardigans, glasses and big smiles! It was such a joy to see their creative costumes and excitement as they embraced this momentous day.

Reaching 100 days is a testament to how much our Preps have grown – in confidence, independence, friendships, and learning. We are so proud of every student for the amazing progress they have made so far this year.

Congratulations, Preps – you are 100 days smarter!

Aged-Care Visits

We are excited to share that our Prep students have begun a very special new initiative - fortnightly visits to Estia Health Aged Care in Keysborough.

During these visits, students spend time interacting with the residents through drawing, games, storytelling and simple conversations. It has been heart-warming to witness the joy shared between the generations as smiles, laughter and kindness fill the room.

These visits not only support our students’ social and emotional development but also reflect our school’s commitment to service, compassion and community connection. For many residents, the time with the children brings a sense of joy, nostalgia, and meaningful companionship.

We are so proud of our Prep students for showing warmth, respect and confidence as they represent our school. We look forward to the many beautiful moments this program will continue to bring.

Spiderman Visit – Again!

There was great excitement in the Prep classrooms this week as Spiderman made a surprise return visit!

A big thank you to our incredible Year 12 leaders, Luke Hans and Hannah Pendala, who carved time out of their busy schedules to spend time with our Prep students. They led a few fun games and activities and the students were absolutely thrilled to interact with their friendly neighbourhood superhero.

We are so grateful to Luke and Hannah for the effort and heart they put into connecting with our younger students. Moments like these create special memories and strengthen the sense of community across our school.

Thank you, Luke and Hannah – and Spiderman – for bringing so much joy!
