From the Executive Principal's Desk

As I write this message, I am attending the CSA National Leaders Summit in the city. This gathering has brought together around 350 leaders from Christian schools across Australia, as we explore what it means for students to truly flourish in our schools.
You may remember that last year we invited our Secondary students to take part in a significant study involving CSA, Harvard University, 57 member schools, and more than 22,000 students. Through a two-stage online survey, our students were asked to respond to a series of questions about their own sense of flourishing.
After many months of analysis, the findings have now been published. I am excited to share with you some of the insights, which clearly show that learning in a Christian school like ours has a profoundly positive impact on the flourishing of students in today’s world.
One particularly encouraging outcome from this ground breaking research is that Christway College students reported levels of flourishing that are notably higher than the national average across Christian schools.
While this is wonderful news, it did not come as a surprise to our leadership team. Throughout its 26 and a half years, Christway College has been known for its Christ-centred atmosphere - an environment that nurtures students as disciples of Jesus, enabling them to grow and flourish in every area of life.
But the story doesn’t end there. Armed with the insights from this research, our leadership team is committed to working together to make our community even stronger, ensuring that students flourish to an even greater extent. This is something we want every member of our community to be part of.
One small but meaningful way you can contribute right now is by completing a short 10-minute survey. Your responses will provide us with valuable insights to help us continue building an even stronger Christian learning community for your child and for future generations at Christway College. Simply click the link below to complete the survey (before returning here to finish reading the newsletter). Your participation will make a significant difference in shaping the future of our college.
