Call out for Bakers - Senior School Bake Sale
On the last day of term we will be holding our senior school bake sale. This much loved event is one that not only provides an opportunity to raise some money but also brings some very big smiles to those that wander the bake sale tables. In order to make this possible, we are looking for:
Donations of baked goods to sell at the stall - things that can be easily portioned work best, eg. cupcakes, small cakes, biscuits, slices, however, larger cakes can also be donated. Items will need to be dropped off to the office on Thursday, 25th of June or Friday morning on the 26th of June - we can't provide refrigeration, so they will need to be able to be put on a shelf overnight (don't worry, we will lock it so there isn't any taste testing going on before the big event!). Volunteers to assist on the day - we need a team of people who can assist with set up, selling items and then pack down. If you've thought about volunteering before but didn't know where to start, the bake sales are a great entry into school events as they are relatively quick! To register your interest, email us fwpsparentsassociation@outlook.com.
Don't forget, before you can volunteer at any school event you need to have a valid working with childrens check (they are free but take a bit of processing time), you also need to register with the FWPS PA and then complete the school volunteers induction package.
Costume Donations - Second Hand Uniform Stall
This year we are trialling an initiative where you can donate costumes and dress ups to the second hand uniform stall that will be sold for events like Milo's Birthday and Book Week. If you have any costumes in good condition that are looking for a new home, they can be donated via the office. Please ensure they are clean / washed and in good condition. Donated items will be available at the next second hand uniform stall on the 18th of June 2026.
Speaking of the amazing second hand uniform stall, we are seeking volunteers for its next opening, Thursday, 18th of June from 3:15pm to 4:00pm - sign up here.
Call for Volunteers - Event Planning
Do you know someone who is great at organising things? Brings the party to any room they walk in, is a master spreadsheeter that could win the excel world championship (yep.. its a real thing), or has the ability to create amazing decorations like a crafty MacGyver?
Guess what… we’d love to meet them. We are still on the hunt for sub committee members for our Solstice Disco, Trivia Night and Father’s and Special Person's Day stall to assist in bringing these events together.

Once again, a big thank-you to the village of people that continue to support us - we had the great pleasure of welcoming some new arrivals to our recent FWPS PA meetings and it was great to see some new faces and hear their ideas and perspectives. Now is a great time to get involved in the PA as we have a list of events coming up throughout the year that will provide opportunities for fundraising but also a chance for us to meet the incredible people that are in our community.
