News from the Deputy Principal

Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026 -

Congratulations to one of our former students, Isabella Andueza, on her selection to represent Australia in the Australian Women's Weightlifting Team!

Bella will compete on 29 July 2026, and we couldn't be prouder of her incredible achievement. Her dedication, perseverance and hard work have led her to this exciting opportunity to represent our country on the international stage.

The entire St Joseph's community wishes you every success, Bella. We will be cheering you on every step of the way. Good luck—we can't wait to watch you compete!

Think U Know Presentation Thursday 23rd July

This year, St Joseph's has been fortunate to participate in the Cyber Safety Project Pilot, proudly supported by Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS)

Throughout the year, our dedicated staff have delivered this valuable program to students, helping them develop the knowledge and skills to navigate the online world safely and responsibly.

To complement your child's learning, we are pleased to offer families the opportunity to attend a free information session presented by the Australian Federal Police on Thursday, 23 July at 6:30 pm.

This informative session is designed for parents and carers and will provide practical advice on keeping children safe online. Topics will include online safety, online grooming, child exploitation, social media, and strategies to help families support safe and responsible digital behaviours at home.

We encourage all parents and carers to attend this valuable presentation and take advantage of the opportunity to hear directly from experts in online child safety.

Please mark this date in your diaries and come along to this totally free and informative session.

These sessions are difficult to secure, so it would be fantastic to see all families represented. Scan the QR Code or register via the link below. Don't miss out on this free opportunity to receive the latest information on how to help protect your child/ren when using social platforms.
