Master Plan Update

As part of the next phase of the College Redevelopment Project, user group consultation commenced for Stage 1 of the redevelopment.

The Stage 1 user groups involved relevant staff and stakeholders working with the project and design teams to provide input into the detailed planning and design of the facilities included within this stage.

Relevant staff provided feedback regarding the new hall, music, drama, art and science rooms.

While the initial consultation will focus on Stage 1, all staff will be kept informed as the project progresses.

There will be further opportunities for staff to participate and provide input into the design of areas associated with Stage 2 and subsequent stages of the redevelopment.

Further information regarding upcoming consultation activities and project milestones will be communicated as the project progresses.

Thank you for your ongoing support and engagement as we progress this important project for the School community.

 FAST Heroes Graduation Day!

Today, our Year 1 and Year 2 students celebrated the completion of the FAST Heroes Stroke Awareness Program!

Over the past five weeks, students have learned how to recognise the signs of a stroke and the importance of acting FAST in an emergency:

🔹 F: Face drooping🔹 A: Arm weakness🔹 S: Speech difficulties🔹 T: Time to call an ambulance

To mark this special achievement, students received their FAST Heroes certificates, superhero capes, and a delicious cupcake to celebrate their success.

A highlight of the day was meeting Timmy on Time, one of the FAST Heroes characters, who helped make the celebration even more memorable!

We are incredibly proud of our students for becoming FAST Heroes and learning important life-saving knowledge that they can share with their families and the wider community.

H Block Morning Activities

In H Block on most mornings, the children enjoyed a range of engaging activities designed to encourage friendship, cooperation and social connections. They explored different activity stations, including colouring, hoops and magnets, giving them opportunities to work alongside one another, share, communicate and build new friendships.

It was lovely to see the children interacting, encouraging each other and enjoying the different activities together.

The event provided a wonderful opportunity for students to come together in a safe and inclusive environment, enjoying time with their peers while building positive relationships and a strong sense of school community.

The dance floor was filled with excitement as students showed off their best moves, participated in games and activities, and enjoyed the festive atmosphere. The smiles, laughter, and enthusiasm throughout the evening reflected the joy of being part of the MCHF community.

A special thank you to our staff who helped make the event such a success. Their support ensured a memorable event that students will be talking about for weeks to come.
