HSC Drama Performance Examinations and MCHf x St Maroun's Music Showcase

Tuesday 25 August was a significant day for our HSC Drama and Music students, marking important milestones in their HSC journey.

Our HSC Drama students proudly presented their Individual Projects (IP) and Group Performances (GP) to HSC markers, showcasing the culmination of months of dedication, creativity, and hard work. Throughout the year, these students have demonstrated commitment in developing and refining their performances, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Mrs Youssef, whose unwavering dedication, expertise, and support have guided the students to perform at their very best.

Our HSC Music students from Maronite College of the Holy Family and St Maroun's College came together for their annual combined showcase, providing a valuable opportunity to perform before peers and teachers ahead of their HSC Performance Examinations in September. It was inspiring to witness the outstanding musical talent on display and the collaborative spirit between both colleges. The constructive feedback provided by music staff will undoubtedly assist students in further refining their performances as they prepare for this important assessment.

We extend our gratitude to St Maroun's College for joining us, and to Mr Sedicol, Ms Jocelyn, and the Year 11 and Year 10 Music students whose support contributed to the success of the event.

We wish all of our HSC Music students every success in their upcoming examinations and hope they continue to make themselves, their families, and the College proud.

Year 8 Subject Selection

Today, our Year 8 students had the opportunity to explore their Stage 5 subject selections and start thinking about the exciting learning opportunities ahead.

Subject stalls were set up around the hall, allowing students to speak directly with teachers, ask questions, explore their options and gain a better understanding of what each subject has to offer.

It was wonderful to see our Year 8 students engaging thoughtfully in the process and beginning to consider their interests, strengths and future pathways as they prepare for Stage 5.

4 Violet Making Chocolate

Students in 4 Violet made chocolate after reading the novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Inspired by the magical chocolate factory and its delicious treats, they created their own chocolate as a fun way to connect the story to a hands-on experience.
