Grade 4

Literacy

Grade 4 students have continued reading Uncle Xbox, and have enjoyed exploring the key messages and themes of the text while also developing their comprehension and their reading fluency. During our Writing lessons, students have been practicing sentence construction and have continued planning and writing a historical recount. During our Spelling lessons, students have continued to learn and practice new spelling rules. 

Maths

Grade 4 students have finished learning about decimals and are now beginning to explore measurement. They are learning how to measure the length, perimeter and area of 2-dimensional shapes.
