What's been happening this week?

FRIENDSHIP
To finish the term, students enjoyed a special Art lesson creating friendship bracelets. The challenge was embraced with enthusiasm, creativity and plenty of smiles! Not only did students learn a new skill, but they also reflected on the importance of kindness, friendship and connections It was a fun and meaningful way to celebrate the end of a fantastic term in Art.
SCRIPT TIME
The Year 3/4 students performed their scripts for their peers, entertaining the audience with their expressive voices, confident delivery, and engaging performances.
TAIKO DRUMS
With the help of some of our year 4 students, our Kindergarten children celebrated Japanese language and culture with a special Japanese Fun Day. They enjoyed making onigiri rice balls, hachimaki headbands, and origami cherry blossoms. A highlight was a taiko drumming experience. The Year 4 students led the activities with great confidence, patience, and compassion.
SHOP CREATIONS
Over the last few weeks, the 1/2s have been focussing on creating their own businesses with their groups. This week it's all systems go! They ran their shops and sold the items they created. They had amazing ideas such as; The Ultimate Balloon Shop, Design Shop, ArtMart, The Creative Shop, Toy and Dress Up Shop, Sports Shop, Pizza Ball, The Best Adventure Shop, the Super Supermarket, The Clothes Shop and the Big Origami Factory!
