McCARTHY CATHOLIC COLLEGE ORIENTATION DAY 2025
UNIFORM
From Term 4, all children are expected to be in their full summer uniform.
Children must be wearing a hat when playing outside. Any child without a hat at break time will be asked to stay in the Undercroft area or the Library.
SCHOOL FEES
As we approach the end of the 2025 school year, we kindly remind all families that school fees must be paid in full by the 21 November 2025 as outlined in your Statement of School Fees.
Timely payment of fees ensures that the school can continue to provide high-quality resources, programs, and support for all students. If you have already settled your account, we sincerely thank you.
For those with outstanding balances, we ask that payment be made by the 21 November 2025.

UPGRADES TO CARTHAGE STREET
Tamworth Regional Council will begin works at the front of St Nicholas School in stages to upgrade the footpath, zebra crossing and safety fencing along the school bus zones.
During Week 10 and in the school holidays, significant parts of the path at the front of the school will be cordoned off. As you can appreciate crossers/walkers and car pick duties may be a little slower than normal as we endeavor to get students out of school as quickly and safely as possible. We thank you for your patience.
VERITAS
Our Veritas Awards stem from our school motto - ‘Veritas’ - meaning truth. The Veritas Award is awarded to students who have been consistently displaying citizenship, leadership and/or Christian Living. Students receiving a Veritas Award are those students who have displayed our ‘Rules for Living’ in their everyday interactions. We announce our Veritas award recipients at Friday morning assemblies every fortnight. Congratulations to: Arabella Yarnold, Morrigan Gillett, Enzo Neilson, Juno Betts, Oluchi Nwafor, Sophia Cordy, Adelaide Burgess, Addison Bartlett, Maya Dean, Hugh Baiocchi, Charlotte Watson, Rex Sedon, Eli Johnson, Amanda Nweke, Mason Knox, Georgia King and Lukah Bass.

SUPERVISION OF STUDENTS
Supervision of students does not begin until 8.15am each day.
St Nicholas School gates will not be open until the arrival of the first school bus at approximately 8.10am. It is not appropriate for children to be at school before this time with no supervision.
If your child/ren require care before 8.15am we recommend you contact Esteem Kids Before and After School Care, which operate in the grounds of St Nicholas School.
