Excitement is building ahead of our upcoming school concert, ‘Welcome to Wonderland’, with rehearsals in full swing. I am sure by now that you have seen some of the dance moves and heard the music and we cannot wait for you to see the full show; only 11 days to go!
Please ensure that you stay across all our communications regarding this event, including dress rehearsals, costume requirements and logistics on the night of the performance.
Each year, the Department of Education provides families with the opportunity to provide feedback about their school. Earlier this week, we shared 2026 Parent Opinion Survey information with our community via Compass, and we have done so again today in Georgia’s Assistant Principal’s Report.
We value your opinions and are keen to hear from as many of you as possible throughout this process. The feedback we receive, both of positive endorsement and negative, will help to continue to improve our school. Thank you in advance for committing a short period of time to complete this.
Our annual parent fundraising event was held almost two weeks ago now, themed as a ‘90’s Trivia Night’. The event was a huge success, with enormous thanks to the organising team led by Steph Esakoff and including Sandy Winer, Jenna Weiner, Madeline Freeman, Nina Gaitz and Meg Dooley. We can’t wait to share our final fundraising tally with you shortly!
We have held two of our significant annual events this week, the Athletics Carnival (for years 3 to 6 students) and Book Week Parade. I would like to thank our students for their outstanding participation, our staff for their brilliant contributions (how good were the book week costumes?!) and our community, who attended both events in great numbers. Significant thanks too to Mr. Wink for his organisation of the Athletics Carnival, and to Ms. Fensham for leading our Book Week celebrations.
A huge thank you to our Year 3 families, who led our most recent ‘cakes for a cause’ event. Despite the inclement weather, we had a vast array of treats for our students to enjoy. Look out for an announcement in coming days regarding the final fundraising total.
Thanks for your ongoing support and keep doing your best.
