Here is some information that will help Year 12 students with your upcoming requirements regarding VTAC that you will be using moving forward in the year:

Please Note: VTAC is not yet open for you to register- VTAC will open on 28 July for you to register and start setting up your applications for the 2026 entry period.

The Careers Team will have one-on-one compulsory sessions with each Year 12 student to support you in registering and navigating your VTAC applications in Term 3 (look out for emails regarding booking in with us early next term)

  • Year 12 students will create and register with VTAC and apply for courses when applications open for Year 12 students in Term 3.
  • Students will then apply for SEAS and Scholarships once they have done this.
  • Students do not register or create accounts now or submit any SEAS or Scholarship applications now. VTAC has a midyear intake which is open now but this is NOT for year 12 students.
  • This midyear intake is for non-year 12 applicants such as mature age or students who finished year 12 2 or more years ago. Please don't get confused.

Students do NOT need to organise any SEAS supporting documentation or need to ask people to write statements of support until Term 3 when VTAC opens for Year 12 students.

You can start thinking of requirements you will need but when VTAC opens for you there will be updated templates to best support your application and SEAS requirements available.

Below are some links to information sheets explaining about the VTAC process, SEAS and dates.

This should help you prepare for VTAC:

Year 12 students should be researching university and courses to help prepare them for Term 3 when they will need to submit their course preferences.

If any student needs any help or wants to discuss careers, options, pathways and courses they can contact the Careers Team, Ms Carter or Ms Veldsman.

Cheers

Ms Veldsman (Career Practitioner - Tue/Fri)
