Year 6 News

This term the Year 6 cohort have begun visiting Esita Health in Epping. 

So far 6ZG and 6SJ have had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with our elderly community members, with a different grade visiting each week. It has been wonderful to see the level of care and respect our students have shown during their visits. Each one has started a little bit awkward as our students build their confidence to say hi and start the conversations. Once we get past that stage, the fun begins! Students have enjoyed getting to know the residents, playing games with them, listening to music and singing along. 

These excursions have shown amazing benefits for both sides and the cohort is excited to continue their visits!
