Wellbeing & RE News

Religious Education News
On Thursday evening, we celebrated 4 students in Years 3 and 4 who made their first reconciliation at the Sacrament of Penance at our beautiful Sacred Heart Church with Father Aloysius. It was a lovely evening and we congratulate Jospeh, Aiden, Celeste, Valentino and their families!
MAGIC MONDAY AFTERNOONS ARE BACK!!!
Last term, students completed a form selecting which learning experiences they wished to take part in and we will begin our magic afternoons on Monday! These groups will focus on wellbeing, social skills, cooperation, conversation, team building and getting to know different teachers and students across other year levels.
It provides opportunity for students to form connections with students they may be with in 2027. It also provides a clear opportunity for student voice and agency in choosing what they would like to learn and take part in.
The Foundation and Year One's will work together in groups whilst the Year Two to Fives will be in mixed groups together. Our Year Six students will work together with James to enjoy their last term at Sacred Heart on some special projects.
Here are some of the experiences, students will take part in:
Crazy Clay - Team Building Fun - Crafty Corner - Games, Games, Games
Drama & Acting Legends - Lego Masters - Crotchet, Sit & Knit
Technology Time - Delightful Dough
We can't wait to share more with you in the next newsletter!
Take Care,
Kate
