Welcome to Term 4 at Sacred Heart

Dear Sacred Heart Families,

Welcome back to Term 4! I hope that all our families enjoyed a restful and happy holiday break, with time to relax, reconnect and enjoy special moments together.

It has been a joy to welcome our children and staff back to school and to see our learning spaces filled with smiles, laughter and renewed energy. As we begin our final term for the year, we look forward to the many wonderful learning opportunities, special celebrations and moments of connection that lie ahead.

Term 4 is always a special time in our school community. It is an opportunity to reflect on how far our children have grown, celebrate their achievements and continue to nurture their confidence, curiosity and sense of belonging. Together, we will continue to ensure that every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to do their very best.

Thank you to our families for your ongoing trust, partnership and support. The strong relationships we share make Sacred Heart such a welcoming and caring community, where our children remain at the heart of everything we do.

I look forward to a wonderful final term together.

Loving God,

Thank You for the beauty of spring and the new beginnings October brings.

Bless our children, families and staff this term. May our homes and school be filled with love, laughter, kindness and hope.

Inspired by Mary, may we care for one another and help each person feel loved and welcomed.

May we continue to grow together and bloom with joy.

Amen.

Celebrating the Sacrament of Reconciliation

It was a joy to share this special occasion with our students and their families. Congratulations to Joseph, Aiden, Celeste and Valentino on receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation. A heartfelt thank you to Abby, Lauren and Tess, and to Kate, our RE Leader, for their care and guidance in preparing the children for this important milestone in their faith journey. Thank you also to the staff who kindly attended and helped make the evening so special.

⭐School Working Bee - A Big THANK YOU ⭐

On Saturday 10 October, we came together for a school working bee to prepare our beautiful school grounds for the upcoming photos and video for our new website.

An enormous thank you to Marty for organising the working bee, and to Lucas’s (Year 2) parents, Ursula and Rodrigo, for guiding and supporting the work. They did an amazing job. We are so grateful to our wonderful parents, grandparents and children who generously gave their time and energy to help.

A special thank you to our dedicated staff members, Marie, who loves gardening, along with Mark, Geraldine, Davide and Prem, for rolling up their sleeves and helping make our school grounds look their best.

It was a wonderful example of our Sacred Heart community coming together. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, care and enthusiasm. Our school is a special place because of the people who make up our community!

📸 School Website Photography and Video

On Thursday 15 October 2026, members of the MACS team will be visiting Sacred Heart to film and photograph our students and staff for promotional purposes. The images and videos will feature on our school website, social media accounts and other promotional materials to help share the wonderful things happening at Sacred Heart and encourage new enrolments.

This visit was postponed from last term, and we are looking forward to showcasing our beautiful school, our learning spaces and, most importantly, our wonderful children and community.

Your child may be included in the following settings:

  • Question and answer sessions
  • Small group settings with the Principal and other staff
  • Larger group settings in classrooms or outdoors in the playground

Uniform reminder: All children are asked to wear their full summer uniform, just as they would for school photo day. Year 6 students are also asked to bring their Year 6 graduating jumpers.

If you do not wish your child to participate in the photography or video shoot, please let us know by return email before Wednesday 14 October 2026.

Thank you for your support as we share the heart of Sacred Heart with the wider community. I look forward to sharing our new website with you!

Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead.

Warmest regards,

Antoniette Stasi
