BOOK FAIR

The Book Fair, our annual fundraising event for the Library, was held last Thursday and Friday, which was very well attended by lots of excited kids and parents.  We ended up with sales of close to $2700, which means we receive about $375 in rewards we can spend at Scholastic over the next 12 months, which helps a great deal in providing books and resources for both the classrooms and the library.

Although we didn’t get any parent helpers for either night, we went ahead with help from staff Jenny Rossi (Canteen) and Bron Rumble (Admin), (Teachers) Sharna Ford on Thursday, Alison Meggs on Friday, as well as members of my family (Pete, Aimee & Will). Thank you…I couldn’t have done it without you!!

Book Club

The last day Book Club orders for Issue 6 is tomorrow, Friday 4th September.  Make sure those orders are in either via LOOP or cash orders to the office.
