Welcome to the DjidiDjidi Class

Kaya Wanjoo from the Djidi Djidi classroom. 

We have had a wonderful start to the school year in our new learning environment, with new friendships forming and familiar faces reconnecting. It has been lovely to see how confidently everyone is settling into routines and embracing Kindy life.

One of our first tasks was creating our new Acknowledgement to Country. As we are no longer the Quokkas, we updated the wording and proudly included more Noongar language. The children have taken great ownership of this important piece of our daily routine.

We have also loved celebrating special days and participating in specialist lessons, including Music with Mrs Rosario and Sport and Library with Mr P. Sport is definitely a weekly highlight!

A growing interest in butterflies has led us to order chrysalises, and we cannot wait to observe their metamorphosis and welcome our very own butterflies.
