Sacrament of Eucharist

On the 11th of August Xavier, Sofia C, Olivia, Sofia L, Aoife, Leah, Evan and Gabrielle made their First Eucharist.

The sacrament took place at the St Martin de Porres Parish mass and was a great celebration. We congratulate these children on such a special milestone in their lives.

The Eucharist is a central part of the Christian faith, representing the body and blood of Jesus Christ. It is a source of spiritual nourishment and strength, helping us to live according to Jesus' teachings. Thank you to Fr Binh, the teachers, the students and their families for supporting in the preparation of this sacrament.

Father's Day

Next Sunday, we wish all our fathers, grandfathers and special males in our lives a Happy Father’s Day. As we celebrate Father's Day, let's also take a moment to honour the earthly father of Jesus, St. Joseph. A carpenter by trade, Joseph was chosen to be the foster father of God's Son. His unwavering faith, his love for Mary, and his dedication to raising Jesus serve as a powerful example of fatherhood.

St. Joseph's story reminds us of the importance of a father's love and guidance in a child's life. His example encourages us to be present, supportive, and loving fathers, just as he was to Jesus.

Father’s Day Prayer Service

We will pray for our fathers, grandfathers and special men at our Prayer service, Thursday 29th August at 9am in the St Martin de Porres Church. This prayer service will be led by 1/2 C and as always all families are welcomed to attend.
