Athletics
A reminder that in weeks 6 & 7, all students will be competing in Athletics Trials during sport time at Holy Trinity. Students will compete in High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, Discus and the 1500m events.
The Long Jump, Discus and Shot Put events will be qualifying for our full day carnival, with the top ranked students progressing to the final in week 9. The High Jump and 1500m events will be run as finals, with our top placed students eligible to represent Holy Trinity at the ACS meet in Term 3.
If students are absent on these days representing the school in other activities, they will be given the opportunity to make-up these events in week 8.
Cross Country
A huge congratulations to all our students who travelled to Armidale and Barraba last week to compete at the ACS Cross Country events. All students did an amazing job representing our school, with fantastic results across the 2 days. Not only did we have 17 students qualify for Sydney, we saw students challenge and push themselves to achieve brilliant individual results.

ACS Teams Tennis
Last Wednesday we had 4 students travel to Armidale to compete in the ACS Tennis Teams Championships. Despite all 4 students being from year 7, our 2 teams proved to be extremely competitive in the Open Boys Division.
Congratulations to Sree and Percy on their performances on the day, and to Wez and Thomas for finishing runners up overall. Wez and Thomas showed some incredible skills and resilience despite going down in a close Final.
Congratulations to our boys, and the future of tennis at Holy Trinity looks in good hands.
