Nude Food Initiative – Keeping Our School Clean and Green
Our focus this term is the Nude Food initiative at Malvern Primary School. Starting from Week 7, students are encouraged to bring “nude food” to school by packing lunches and snacks without wrappers or disposable packaging.
This means using reusable containers, lunchboxes, and drink bottles to help reduce rubbish and support a cleaner environment.
As part of this initiative, there will also be a strong emphasis on keeping our school grounds tidy and taking pride in our shared spaces. Students will be encouraged to actively clean up the yard, place rubbish in the correct bins, and work together to care for our environment.
Our EcoWarriors will play an important role in supporting this initiative by helping classes promote nude food practices and encouraging students to keep classrooms and outdoor areas clean.
The Nude Food initiative helps students develop an understanding of sustainability and the importance of reducing waste in our everyday lives. By making small changes to the way we pack food, we can make a big difference to our school and the wider community.
We appreciate the support of families in helping students participate in this initiative and look forward to working together to keep Malvern Primary School clean, safe, and environmentally friendly.
Many Thanks,
The Sustainability Resource Team
