Term 3-4 News
St John's Skipathon-Whole School
This year we are looking forward to our annual skipathon. Mr B will send out information related to fundraising for the event.
Children will need their own rope for sports sessions.
The children will be participating in a skip-a-thon on:
Friday, 15th of August.
Venue- St John’s -Nunan Hall
The timetable will be as follows:
Middle 9:30-10:30,
Senior 11:25-12:25,
Junior 2:15pm- 3:10pm.
Teacher eliminator at 12:35.
The prizes are: One bike for the Juniors, one for the Middle School and one for the Senior School. Prizes will be randomly drawn from those who have contributed to the fundraiser as per the Trybooking page details.
District Basketball Championships
On Friday, the 29th, August, one boys and one girls team from Grade 5/6 will have the chance to compete in the Bayside District Basketball Championships to be held at Frankston Basketball Stadium. There has been a series of selection trials held to select teams. We are very lucky to have Mel Cotta and Mr Caine available to coach these teams on the day.
Footy Day - Whole School
On Thursday, 11th September, Footy Day will be held on the school grounds. It will be a fantastic day with a parade at 9:00 am to kick off events. We will be holding games and also have the AFL roadshow running, which will be great fun for all.
Division Athletics
Division Athletics will be held for those who qualified on Wednesday, 9th October. This is the first week of Term 4 - Wednesday, October 8th. Parents are required to organise transport and supervision on this day.

Boys Netball Day
A team of Grade 5/6 boys will be attending the District Netball Lightning Premiership on Thursday, November 6th at Jubilee Park.

District Cross Country results
St John’s recently competed in the District Cross Country.
Our team finished 4th overall with our Seniors 4th and our Juniors 1st.
Congratulations to the students who qualified for the division cross country. These children needed to place in the top 10 to qualify.

Cricket Day
