Cross Country

District and Division Cross country

On the 10th of May, Caulfield District School Sports Association hosted the District Cross Country at Caulfield Park.

The year 3s and 4s ran 2 km while the year 5s and 6s ran 3km. They races are ordered from the youngest to oldest.

As soon as we got there, we could tell that it would be a long day full of races! All of our runners showed amazing sportsmanship, and upheld our school values. We all congratulated everyone who beat us and everyone who lost. It was an excellent day for all participants that competed and tried their best to get to the podium.

We all had a blast, and we have around 10 students that have placed top 10 in their races, meaning that they will advance to Division.

All of our runners that are progressing to this level are super excited to try their hardest and represent Malvern Primary School to the best of their ability. They will be representing our school at Karkarook Park Thursday this week.

We thank all students who took part in cross country this year, and we wish good luck to runners in upcoming races.
