Tickets for the Easter Raffle have been sent home with students this week. This is a popular event – see more details below. Last year around 40 prizes were drawn as part of the raffle.
We are also kindly seeking Easter items that can be used as part of the raffle prizes.
Mark Ride to School Day in your calendars for Wednesday, 18th March! Students are encouraged to ride, scoot or actively travel to school.

Current events and fundraisers
Zooper Dooper Friday
The Parents and Friends will continue selling Zooper Doopers on Fridays at lunch time until the end of the Term.
Zooper Doopers will be $1.00 each, a maximum of 2 per student. Students are encouraged to bring coins for payment, notes will not be accepted.
This term Year 6 students will also be helping sell the Zooper Doopers.
Easter Raffle
We are pleased to again be organising the Easter Raffle!
Raffle tickets have been sent home with students this week. Tickets are $1 each, please make sure to write a name and phone number on each ticket sold.
Tickets and money are to be returned to school by Monday, 30th March.
More raffle tickets are available from the office.
Raffle prizes will be drawn on the last day of term, Thursday 2nd April, and winners can collect their prizes at the special school assembly or will be contacted to collect prize.
This year, funds raised will contribute to capital works projects, new classroom furniture, and additional learning resources for our school. These improvements will directly support the teaching and learning environment for all students.
Seeking donations
The P&F are kindly seeking small donations of easter items that will be used as prizes - items like chocolate easter eggs, craft, books etc. Only new store-bought items accepted.
Items can be sent to school with students up until Monday, 30th March.
Donations will be used to make up prizes - hopefully multiple prizes allowing chances for lots of raffle winners!

Easter Colouring Competition
Colouring pages for the Easter Colouring Competition have been sent home with students this week.
Completed colouring pages will be due back to the school office by Tuesday, 31st March.
Prizes will be presented on Thursday, 2 April. There will be one prize for each class.
Ride to School Day – Wednesday, 18th March
The P&F is supporting the school to encourage students, where possible, to travel to school in an active way on Ride2School Day, Wednesday, 18th March.
National Ride2School Day is normally held on Friday, 20th March, this is the same date as our school Harmony Day Celebrations so we have planned to celebrate a few days early.
National Ride2School Day is the perfect opportunity for students and school communities across Australia to embrace a healthier start and to try riding and walking to school for themselves. Parents are encouraged to accompany their children, especially those who do not regularly actively travel to school.
Check out the ‘Ride ready checklist’, plan the safest route to school including best locations to cross roads, especially when they are busy around school time.
For those students able to participate it is recommended for helmets and bikes/scooters to be labelled with the students name and class.
A secure site at school will be set up for students' equipment to be stored for the day.
If you cannot participate on the day, think of how you can get active the next time you are outdoors!

P&F Involvement
Involvement in the P&F and the school community comes in all different forms and doesn't need to be a big time commitment.
Please reach out to the P&F if you may be able to help out during the year. Requests for help are sent out via PAM/Simon and the newsletter.
If you are interested in becoming a Committee Member – please contact us to have a chat. Being a part of the Committee isn’t a large time commitment and there are no set requirements of a member.

If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.
