Kinder News - Go-Yin Group

The Go-Yin children have had a busy and exciting start to Term 4. We have been learning all about space, beginning with Earth, the planet we call home. We have explored the differences between the sun, Earth and the moon, how day and night occur, and learnt about the Dark Emu in the night sky.

We have also been very busy preparing for our upcoming Art Show. The children have worked hard to create their special artworks using a range of materials and techniques, and they are very excited to share their creations. We warmly invite our school community to come along for a fun afternoon at our Art Show on Tuesday 20 October, from 4:00–6:00 pm in the school gym. We would love to see you there supporting our talented young artists!

As part of our transition-to-school program, we have continued visiting Miners Rest Primary School. The children have enjoyed spending time in the classroom, borrowing books from the school library and exploring different areas of the school grounds. These experiences are helping all children become familiar with a school environment and build their confidence as they prepare for their transition to Foundation.
