Making Room for What Matters

The Gospel of John this week (John 2:13-22) shares a powerful moment where Jesus clears the Temple courts of noise and business. He reminds everyone that this holy space is meant for prayer and connection with God.

This story gently asks us to look at our own family lives. Our homes are busy places full of school, work, activities and screens. While all these things are part of our life, we might wonder if they are leaving enough room for quiet moments, deep connection and spiritual reflection.

Jesus invites us to protect time and space for what matters most, ensuring our daily "business" doesn't crowd out the peace we all need.

Wonderings for Our Community:

• What might be "taking up space" in our daily routine that makes quiet moments hard to find?
• How do we protect time for connecting with each other, free from distractions?
• What simple changes could help us make a little more room for stillness and peace in our homes this week?

Year 3 Reconciliation Reflections

We recently shared a peaceful and meaningful evening with our Year 3 students and their families. as they celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Together, we reflected on the power of forgiveness, both in offering it to others and in experiencing the freedom that comes from being forgiven. As humans, we often ‘miss the mark,’ yet Jesus, in His divinity, reminds us that we too have the grace and strength to forgive, just as He has forgiven us.
