SMAD

Our SMAD team has been very this term, developing their leadership skills and building an inclusive culture within our school. 

At various times, members of our SMAD team have been sought out to consult Merri-Bek council on topics including community development, representation and youth services. We are grateful for these opportunities and hope to connect even more in the future.  

Earlier this term, we were lucky enough to be invited to Pascoe Vales Girls School for a workshop afternoon with their student leadership team. We were able to connect and learn about their student leadership structure, while sharing ideas and experiences. We were inspired and rejuvenated after the visit! Thank you to PVGS for hosting us and we cannot wait to have you at John Fawkner College in Term 4.

Week 6 was an important week as we acknowledged Wear It Purple Day. Students wrote positive posts and read out facts about the history and community of LGBTQIA+. Our photo booth and airy floss were very popular. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported on the day.
