Around Our School

Congratulations
Congratulations and well done to all of the St Brendan’s students who performed in the biennial whole school production, Frozen JR. The whole of the St Brendan's community is very proud of your efforts. The Year Five and Six matinee and evening casts, and for the first time, some Year Three and Four soloists, shone brightly in not one but TWO shows at the Frankston Arts Centre on Monday, September 15th. Both performances were sold almost to capacity, and the support of our community in coming to watch the shows was truly heartwarming. While this was my last production at St Brendan’s before my departure, I could not have been prouder of what we achieved together. Simply beautiful!
As I mentioned in my post-performance speech, I sincerely thank all of the staff, families, students and The Frankston Arts Centre staff involved in the production for their support and tireless work in bringing the story of Frozen Jr to life on stage.
Thank You
I sincerely thank Sue, Bernie and all of the amazing staff for the beautiful farewell and gifts they gave to me as I departed at the end of Term Three. Thank you also to the students and families who wrote cards, sent in gifts and spoke the kindest of words and the warmest of well wishes to me as I departed to begin my new role. It has been an amazing journey at St Brendan’s, and I will very much miss working with this beautiful community. I will always treasure the memories I have of leading Frozen JR., various other productions at St Brendan’s, and the many, many wonderful times I have had over the past seventeen years on staff. Thank you to all who have walked with me on this journey. May God bless you all!
Yours in faith & harmony.
