Junior Parish Sports

One of the great traditions in our Parish community is the annual Junior Sports Day. Each year, junior students from St. Mary’s, St Joseph’s and St Brendan’s participate in a fun tabloid sports day. On Friday 31st of October, our Foundation and Grade 1 and 2 students will be travelling by bus to St. Joseph’s Primary School for a fun morning of tabloid sports. The events will run from 9:30 until 11:30 and will include activities such as basketball dribbling, footy kicking, skipping, parachute games etc. Details will be sent out soon via Operoo, so stay tuned. We look forward to a wonderful day!

Division Athletics Day

Congratulations to all the students who competed last week in the Northern Peninsula Division Athletics Carnival. Although I did not attend this event, from all reports in, the competition was challenging!

Our little athletes did their best, supporting and cheering for each other. We are so proud of their achievements.

Overall, we have two students progressing to the next level, the South Metro regionals to be held on Wednesday 22st October at Casey Fields Athletics Centre – 160 Berwick Cranbourne Road, Cranbourne East.

A huge congratulations to Jade S who placed 2nd in Shot Put and Chantelle P, who placed 2nd in the 200m Sprint.

Thank you everyone!
