Premiers' Reading Challenge
Our 2026 Premiers’ Reading Challenge is well underway and there have been already 437 books read so far by our amazing students. We hope you have all been able to log in without any issues and continue to add your books online. Please do not hesitate to contact your child’s classroom teacher if you require further information.
Students from Foundation to Level 2 are encouraged to read or ‘experience’ 30 books with their parents and teachers. Students from Level 3 to Level 6 are challenged to read 15books.
There will be a display in the library which will be updated monthly to celebrate our top readers in each level across the school. At the end of the challenge, our overall top readers will receive a gift during assembly for their individual efforts.
As students are choosing books to borrow from our school library, please look for our colour coded dots found on the spine of the books that are included as part of the challenge.
🟡 Yellow – Foundation to Level 2
🟠 Orange – Level 3 to 4
🟢 Green – Level 5 to 6
Even though these stickers help students find books that count towards the Premiers’ Reading Challenge portion of the program, every book read can be logged so please keep exploring and enjoy a wide range of texts.
Keep up the amazing reading!
