Music

Music: In Music this term, students will be learning about beat and rhythm and revising  Ta and Titi and rests using rhythm dictation. They will be exposed to different genres of music from Classical to Jazz.

PE

In PE this term, students will be developing game skills and strategies. They then will be introduced to modified versions of invasion games, to establish basic understandings of teamwork and rules.

ART

This term, Year  2 students will investigate 2D Mixed Media through Printmaking, Collage, and Pastel Drawing. The curriculum focuses on developing fine motor skills and creative decision-making as students experiment with layering and mark-making. By the end of the term, students will have created  works that showcase a variety of textures and techniques.

STEAM

In STEAM this term, students will use both visual and verbal block code to move avatars or robots in a sequence of steps. All work is completed using an iPad and Education Department-approved coding apps.
