Wellbeing

In Term 2, we are continuing to practice, revisit and reinforce the classroom routines and behaviour expectations that align with our School Wide Expectations. We are explicitly teaching the School Norms: Collaboration, Aspiration, Integrity and Resilience, so students can understand and apply them to their learning and everything we do at school.
Our Term 2 Respectful Relationships topics Emotional Literacy and Problem Solving.
In our unit on Emotional Literacy, students will:
- Build their understanding of their own emotions and situations that may evoke these emotions.
- Build on their capacity to recognise emotions in others through verbal and non-verbal cues.
In our unit on Problem Solving, students will:
- Build their understanding of a range of problem-solving techniques to apply when faced with challenging situations.
- They engage in scenario-based learning tasks to practise their problem-solving skills.
