DOT Week

Jude Shields, Head of Junior Primary

DOT Week was a vibrant celebration of colour, sound, movement, and creativity. Across the week, students were immersed in a rich creative arts experience, with opportunities to develop their talents and discover new interests. This year’s theme, Creative Symphonies, reminded us that a symphony is not created by one instrument alone. It comes alive when many unique sounds work together in harmony. In the same way, God has gifted each of us with different talents and passions. Whether creating, performing, dancing, building, or making, every gift has value and, when combined, creates a beautiful symphony.

Throughout the week, students enthusiastically participated in electives, workshops, and House competitions, with Cooper House ultimately crowned the DOT Week Champions for 2026. For many, the highlight was the spectacular Symphony Showcase, where families joined us for an afternoon celebration of learning. Students proudly shared and displayed their hard work from the week through static displays of their creations and a variety of performances.

DOT Week was more than just a week of activities. It was a celebration of community, reflecting the creativity of our Creator God.
