Feedback on new uniform samples

Thank you very much to the parents who have engaged with our recent process to gather feedback on the new uniform samples offered by Noone.  Over five formal briefing sessions, we have met with dozens of parents to explain the process leading up to the preparation of the samples which have been on display for the last five weeks. 

We will now collate and review the feedback we have received from families (and students) before making some decisions.  We really value the time parents have taken to share their views with us. 

AngliSchools Retreat

Late last week, senior staff from Trinity joined with their counterparts from the three Victorian AngliSchools: Cathedral College Wangaratta, Cobram Anglican Grammar School, and All Saints Anglican School (in Shepparton), for a short Retreat with the Bishop of Gippsland, The Right Rev Dr Richard Treloar.  With lifelong connections to Anglican education, Bishop Richard has a strong appreciation of the vital role schools play in forming young people academically, spiritually and personally.  His experience spans school leadership, classroom teaching, board governance and community engagement, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary school environments.

Bishop Richard invited us to reflect on two often overlooked books of the Bible, Tobit and Judith.  Although very different stories, both offer valuable insights for those entrusted with the care and formation of young people.

Tobit highlights the importance of faithfulness, integrity and perseverance through life's challenges.  It reminds us: character is formed over time through consistent acts of service, kindness and trust in God.  Judith, by contrast, presents a powerful example of courage and conviction in a time of uncertainty.  Her story demonstrates leadership often requires wisdom, clarity and the confidence to act when others hesitate.

Together, these books encourage us to consider how we lead, serve and support one another within our school community.  They remind us education is not only about academic achievement but also about nurturing resilience, compassion, courage and faith, qualities that enable young people to flourish and contribute positively to the world around them.

As our College Motto reminds us: Omnia possibilia apud Deum (All things are possible with God).
