Cassia 1 & 2 News

Cassia is Blooming!

We have been about all things spring the last couple weeks, carefully creating spring festival invitations, welcoming back the shady leaves of the mulberry tree, and beginning our spring circle in preparation for the festival.

Our Spring Festival is on the 17th of September, a Thursday, 8:30am until about 10:30/11am. Please arrive promptly, in your best spring clothes, with a nourishing plate of food to share and flowers for crown making.

We have noticed that the children have been embracing spring in their own ways, with very hungry children eating all their lunch boxes, growth spurts everywhere and the children showing us they are ready for more from our curriculum. We welcome this by bringing longer and more detailed stories and fairytales each week. The children are also very happily welcoming back the beginning of water play in outside.

As it begins to warm up, this is your reminder to make sure that the children have their hats every day.

We look forward to welcoming and celebrating spring next week.

Blessings,

Maika, Sophie, Letetia and Madonna.
