As we approach the end of a rich and rewarding term, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Elise Duffield for her wonderful contribution to our school community.
Over the course of the term, Elise has shared her wealth of experience in movement education, taught High School English, and brought enthusiasm, creativity, and professionalism to all that she has undertaken. She has worked closely with Jenna in supporting the highly successful Class 5 Greek Olympics, an experience that brought history, movement, teamwork, and joy together in a truly meaningful way.
The Greek Olympics hold a special place in Steiner Education, offering Class 5 students an opportunity to step into the world of Ancient Greece through athletic endeavour, beauty of movement, and noble competition. The event celebrated not only physical skill and perseverance but also courage, respect, and community spirit. It was wonderful to see students rise to the occasion with such enthusiasm and grace.
Although Elise has only been with us for a term, she already feels very much a part of our community. We are deeply grateful for all she has brought to the school and look forward to maintaining an ongoing connection into the future.
As the season begins to turn and the first signs of spring emerge around us, we are also looking forward to our upcoming Spring Festival. We hope it will be a joyful occasion for all.
May the holidays provide time for rest and connection.
