Lego League Competition

A huge congratulations to both of our teams who attended the Lego League Competition in Ballarat last week. Both groups had worked out in the lead up to the competition to build and set up a Lego archaeological site, design and code a robot, and create a presentation explaining the work they had done.

On the day, the teams competed against other schools from the region to see who could complete the most missions while working well as a team. They presented their robot and the work they had done to a panel who provided them with feedback.

At the end of the day, trophies were awarded to different teams, with two other schools heading off to the state championships in Melbourne. Both of our teams received trophies for their efforts, with the teams bringing home the "Robot Design" and "Robot Performance" awards.

Thanks to our 5/6 students who worked on this project during their lunchtimes in the lead-up to the competition and to Miss Gale who supported both team at school and at the competition.
