Lorne Camp
Day 1
Departing school, all students were happy and excited for their 2025 camp to Lorne.
Arriving at Lorne and unpacking the bus, the students were pumped to see our camp site, especially our fishing crew, with Erskine River so close. We had a quick lunch and ventured to Livewire Park for our 2-hour circuit. The students arrived in awe of the treetops and the wire course. 5/6A got strapped up first, while 5/6B jumped into the ball pit and trampoline area. Eventually all students were on the course, many flying around the long course and some taking advantage of the smaller and shorter courses. It was fanatics to see everyone 'have a go' and get out of their comfort zones being so high up!
After, we made the trek down to the town to grab some ice cream and play on the playground. Later, we went to the beach, and the students enjoyed the sand between their feet and running around with freedom.
Day 2
Up early due to camping, the students rose with the sun. We had breaky and went our hike to Teddys Lookout. The students did very well, with the tough Lorne terrain, but we made it and what a view we had. The students were in admiration of a surfer down below, watching them surf amongst the huge waves and so close to the rocks. After, we made our way to the pier to see the rest of the coast. Lunchtime. Now surfing, the guys at Go Ride a Wave are fantastic at what they do, being so cool, calm and collected with our group, they went through all the safety measures and instruction on how to be successful! Once the students jumped in the water, they didn't want to get out! It was probably the best group I have seen attempt surfing, so many were great and rode many waves in, either on their stomachs or standing! A big feed of hot chips straight after, some chill out time back at the caravan park, then it was down the beach again for some activities. Sandcastle building competition, grab the flag races and free time so the students, again, didn't want to leave. Dinner, chill out time then it was bedtime.
Day 3
Quieter day. The students rose a little bit later this time, which was a good sign they were tried. We had out bacon and egg breaky and set off for the days sort adventures. Our fishing crew went to the pier to try their luck, a couple of nibbles but unfortunately not success on reeling any fish in. The other group explored the local rock pools, finding shells, looking for sea creatures and exploring the coral around. Back to the camp site, lunch and pack up to leave!
A huge thank you to Cass Viney and Nick Franc for giving up their time to join us on camp. We truly appreciate the effort and work you put in during those 3 days on camp, and we hope you had a lot of fun!
Again, thanks to Miss Stephan, Miss Gale, Mrs Belden for their time of camp. We have such great and dedicated staff.
We hope all your children had fun and a great experience at our beach camp!

As we will be performing NSYNC's song 'Bye Bye Bye', we have decided to wear blue jeans and a white shirt. If the weather is warm, blue denim shorts will be fine as well. We can't wait to show you what we have been working hard on!
Miss Stephan
Our attire for this year's concert is all black. Students can wear anything that is black or as close to. Pants, shorts, t-shirts, jumpers (pending weather) are all acceptable.
