Our students have been excitedly rehearsing for our upcoming end of year Christmas Concert (next Thursday!!).
Each level will be performing a song and we will also hear from our two Choirs and the Marimba Band will showcase their skills for the final time this year.
In the classroom the year 3/4s have completed their unit on learning the recorder. Our most talented students have been learning a Christmas Carol to perform next week too.
The years 5-6s have grown in confidence with their ukulele playing and can now accompany a number of songs. Our junior classes have enjoyed playing the glockenspiels and marimbas and also dancing to help develop their musicality.

We have been bust in the Art room over the last few weeks. Here are some of our most recent displays around the school. Please feel free to pop in and take a look.
Foundation - The Dot & Animals inspired by Eric Carle

1/2 - Browyn Bancroft inspired flower arrangements

5/6 - Fairytale egg-carton Portraits

Over the next few weeks students will be taking many of their artworks home. Please ask them questions about the making process, what materials they used and what they enjoyed? Display their work proudly in your home and encourage them to share the stories behind their creations :)
