đââď¸ Grade 1/2 Swimming Program đââď¸
Last week, the Grade 1/2s participated in our swimming program at Surrey Park Swim School, and it was a fantastic week of learning, confidence-building, and fun in the pool! Students enjoyed daily swimming practice, developed new skills, and learned important water-safety strategies.
Â
Working in small groups with their swim teachers, each student focused on skills tailored to their level â from basic water confidence to more advanced stroke techniques. Some groups were even excited to venture into thedeep end for the first time!
Â
The highlight of the week was definitely Fridayâs Fun Day. Students loved playing on the water tower, zooming down the slide, and jumping into the deep end wearing life jackets. A big favourite was the running mat, where they had the chance to test their balance while ârunning on waterâ!
Â
It was a wonderful and valuable week for all â filled with learning, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. đŚđ
