We need you!
As we fast approach our annual Dads footy match vs Brighton Primary on August 30, we are still in search of players to take the field! There’s something to be said for strength in numbers and being the smaller cousin, we need all the bodies we can get to field a team!
If you’re up for it, we’d love you to get involved and resister to play. It’s a great community event that raises much needed funds for the school - and the kids love seeing the dads out there in school colours giving it a crack! No experience required.
We train every Sunday, 3:45pm @ Whyte St Reserve so come down for a bit of exercise, plenty of banter and lots of fun.
Register to play here: https://www.trybooking.com/DCBYE
Your payment gets you a 2025 named Guernsey (choose between short and long sleeve), playing shorts and contribution towards game days costs plus school donation… what a deal!
Supporter (non-player) Guernseys in adult & kids sizes are also available via the same link so don’t forget to kit out the whole family.
They’re back
Back by popular demand, the updated 2025 Dreamers Hoodie is now available for pre order*! Stock is limited so don’t miss out and secure yours now. Kids ($55) and Adult ($65) sizes available. *You don't need to be playing to wear the hoodie and support our team!
Order here: https://www.trybooking.com/DCSVO (*Delivery is expected mid-July).
Big Freeze 2025:
On the Sunday of the Kings birthday long weekend, many Brighton Beach Dreamer and Brighton Primary Lions families braved the wintery conditions to take part in the 2025 Brighton Big Freeze Jump. Participants dove off the Brighton Pier into the freezing water and swam back to shore, before running up the beach to the finish line in front of the Royal Brighton Yacht Club.
Breaking the tape in first place was Dreamer James Lai and the "Best Dressed" award went to another Dreamer Levi Bates(y), who's spaceman outfit confused many of our local fish.
A big thanks to all that got involved and to Brighton Beach Life Saving Club who volunteered their time to make sure participants were safe throughout the race. The event raised valuable funds for #fightMND.
Join the Dream:
The Dreamers social club is run by the dads of the school and organise several activities throughout the year. Events include the big freeze swim, fundraising events, various social gatherings, and the epic annual Dad’s footy match.
All are very welcome and it’s a great way to meet other dads, uncles or careers - so if you’re keen to be involved (or think your husband or partner would benefit from this great community group), send us an email with your details to bbpsdreamers@gmail.com or speak to one of our current members!
We look forward to welcoming you!
