Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.
We were proud of our Fire Carriers (Grade 5 children) and Catholic Identity Team who represented St Joseph's at the Campaspe Council Reconciliation Walk on Tuesday.
Creator Spirit,
You have journeyed with us through time, weaving together the stories of this land. We honour the First Peoples—the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities—who have cared for Country with wisdom and grace.
In this week of reflection, we acknowledge past injustices and the pain carried by generations. Yet, we also see resilience, strength, and the enduring spirit of cultures that thrive.
Guide us to listen deeply, to learn with open hearts, and to act with courage. May we build bridges of understanding, respect, and unity. Help us to move from words to deeds, from intention to action. As we stand in the present, let us honour the past and commit to a future where reconciliation is lived daily.
Together, may we walk forward, hand in hand, from now to next.
Amen.

The Jubilee Prayer
Dear Jesus, our friend and guide,
Open our hearts to your love as we walk with you. Help us to see your presence in every sacred place we visit.
As we travel together, lead us closer to you and to one another, so that our journey brings us together in your love. Fill us with hope, joy and kindness so we can share your light with the world.
Amen
