The latest news!

Dear Parents, Carers and Supporters of St Joseph’s School,

Our students have had wonderful opportunities to represent St Joseph’s over the past two weeks, and we couldn’t be prouder of the positive way they engage with others—both within our school and in the wider community.

We also appreciate your support in ensuring they wear the correct uniform during these events. It reflects our commitment to tradition and the pride we take in our school’s presentation in the community.

Thank You – Parents and Friends Funeral Catering

It is a p rivilegeto support families during their time of loss. Providing comfort through thoughtful catering is a meaningful way to show care and compassion as they grieve. Your kindness and dedication when contributing to our catering efforts, make a real difference during these difficult moments, while also raising funds for our school

National Simultaneous Storytime

Last Wednesday, we participated in National Simultaneous Storytime. Foundation children visited the preschool to share in this special event, joining younger students for a joyful reading experience. Classes came together to enjoy the story, fostering a sense of connection and engagement. Afterward, students participated in a fun activity, reinforcing the themes of the story through creativity and collaboration. We enjoy these opportunities to come together.

Classroom Mastery Visit

We had the pleasure of welcoming Bridie Archer, our Classroom Mastery coach. Bridie was highly impressed by the dedication of our staff in embracing routines and commended our students for their responsiveness.

During her visit, we addressed some concerns, particularly around lunchtime and eating. One key adjustment we made was ensuring that children who hadn’t finished eating when the bell rang could take their food to the line and continue eating once inside the classroom at their tables. This small but effective change provides structure while supporting students in finishing their meals comfortably.

Campaspe Netball Tournament

A huge thank you to Eliza and Moni for their outstanding organisation, both in the lead-up to the event and on the day. Their efforts ensured everything ran smoothly, creating a fantastic experience for all involved.

The netballers had an incredible day, playing with great energy and enthusiasm. Their teamwork and dedication shone through, and they proudly finished as runners-up in their section—a fabulous achievement! They were fantastic representatives of our school, demonstrating sportsmanship and positivity throughout the tournament. Well done to everyone who took part!

We're excited to begin preparations for the Campaspe Football Carnival on Wednesday, 25th June

To make the day a success, we are looking for a coach and team manager.

Please talk to Liz if you'd like to be involved in the day.

NSW Floods

Our hearts go out to the communities in NSW facing immense hardship due to the devastating floods. We deeply understand the challenges and loss they are enduring. Please keep these communities in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this difficult time. Your support and kindness mean so much.

Thank you for your ongoing support and commitment to our school community. We look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead and celebrating the achievements of our students together.

Warm regards,
