Be a Blessing and Pray

At Devonport Christian School, we deeply value the power of prayer and the opportunity it gives us to support one another, our school, and the wider community.

We warmly invite all parents and carers to join us each Wednesday for our Upper Room Prayer gathering in the 9/10 Centre Conference room, held immediately after Worship Wednesday from 9.00am to 9.30am.

We understand that many of our parents have young children, so alongside the prayer space we have a dedicated room for toddlers and little ones, complete with toys and colouring activities. This allows parents to participate in prayer while knowing their children are comfortably engaged nearby.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, reflect, and uplift our school community in a supportive and meaningful way. 

We would love to partner with you in prayer for the people, families, and future of DCS.

Praise Points:

• Praise for the success of the NextGen events last week, for the leadership our students demonstrated in hosting over 600 students at DCS throughout the week.

• Praise for the excursions our Prep and Year 1/2 students were able to go on last week

Prayer Points:

• Prayer for the school holiday break, for a restful and renewing time for all our students, families and staff.

• Prayer for the final preparations for Year 6 and Year 9 Camps at the beginning of Term 4.
