Families of students who will be in Year 10-12 in 2026 are invited to attend this event. Please note, this event is compulsory for current Year 10 students and their families.

Well done to all students who sat the GAT, Year 10 and Unit 1 exams this week. This type of assessment can be daunting. Many students have prepared well, implementing study techniques and completing practice exams. We hope your results reflect your effort! 

Congratulations to students who were celebrated on Wednesday for their exceptional growth in their Maths program. Students have been in the program for 3 months and have displayed from 6 months growth up to nearly 3 years growth within this timeframe. We are incredibly proud of you all and your continued efforts. A huge thank you also to our wonderful LSO team for their continued support and dedication.

Congratulations to the Year 8 students who received excellence awards at this morning’s assembly! Your dedication and hard work have paid off. We are proud of your efforts – keep up the great work!

Year 11 VCE-VM students spent the day completing their Barista Certificate training.

The session began with an introduction to different coffee varieties, brewing methods, and essential barista techniques such as espresso extraction and milk texturing. Students then had the opportunity to hone their skills, preparing over 50 orders from staff—each with unique preferences—to qualify for their Barista Certificate.

By the end of the day, students could confidently make a wide range of beverages, including short blacks, long blacks, lattes, cappuccinos, short and long macchiatos, hot chocolates, and mochas. With the college now equipped with its own commercial coffee machine, we’re sure it will see plenty of use!

A big thank you to Munish and Sid from Short Courses Australia RTO - 41261 for their time, guidance, and expert instruction. Practical skills like these not only build student confidence but also provide valuable pathways to part-time employment while they study.

Parents/carers are reminded there will be immunisations for Year 7 students on the following date: 

• September 8 - Year 7 Immunisations (HPV and Boostrix), from 9:15am onsite at St Anne's College

Parents/carers will be sent a letter with further information as your student's immunisation date approaches as well as a link to the online form which you are required to complete.
