Principal's Report
Term 2, Week 9
Dear St FX Parents and Carers,
GRANDPARENTS AND SPECIAL PERSONS DAY
One of the highlights of Term 2 was our annual Grandparents and Special Persons Day! Thank you to all our families who attended the special assembly and made our afternoon at school so special for our students. The items were very entertaining and melted many hearts.
STUDENT REPORTS AND PARENT INTERVIEWS
Student reports will be available on Compass this Friday, June 27th. Parent-teacher meeting bookings for next week are now open via the Compass Parent Portal and will close at 3:30 PM on Friday, June 27th, 2025.
ATHLETICS CARNIVAL
A very big thank you to Mrs Janelle Nehrkorn, Mrs Jess Craig, Mrs Alex Conroy, Ms Becky Hogan and all our staff for their organisation of the school Athletics Carnival. There is a huge amount of planning and preparation that goes into an event such as this. Thanks should also go to all our volunteers who made the day possible - without your help the carnival cannot go ahead.
It is also necessary to recognise our groundsman, Mr Keith Flood, and parent helper, Mr Tom Craig, who played a large role in carting all the necessary resources to and from the High School. This was a huge undertaking and we are extremely grateful for your help.
SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL (SAC) -
ARE YOU INTERESTED?
Our School Advisory Council will be seeking a parent representative to begin as early as Term 3. If you are interested or wish to be considered, please contact the School Office and register your interest. This tenure will consist of 2 meetings for the remainder of 2025.
END OF TERM MESSAGE
Since this will be the final Newsletter for Term 2, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support, especially throughout the busy-ness of this term. For those of you who are travelling away during the upcoming holiday break, I hope you travel safely. For those of you who are staying around Narrabri during the break, I hope you and your family find some time to unwind and recharge the batteries.
Have a great week!
Mrs Michelle O’Connor
Principal
