Respectful Relationships

As part of the Wellbeing Curriculum implemented across Sandhurst Schools each fortnight we will share topics being covered in the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships (RRRR) program.
Foundation
In Respectful Relationships, the Grade Preps are learning about stress management and ways to reduce stress through positive play for self-cheering.
Grade 1
In Respectful Relationships, the Grade Ones are working on the topic of problem-solving and are discussing ways to solve real world problems.
Grade 2
In Respectful Relationships, the Grade Twos are learning about ways to solve problems when they arise. They are compiling possible good and bad outcomes for the choices they make.
Grades 3/4
In Respectful relationships, the students have been looking at ‘Positive Coping.’ Students are describing the kinds of actions that can hurt or upset others. They practised ways to apologise when they have hurt someone.
Grade 5 and Grades 6
In Respectful Relationships, the Grade 5s and 6s have been looking at ‘Positive Coping’. In particular, discussing strategies they could use when faced with difficult or challenging times in their lives, and in particular in social situations.
