Principal Post

Dear Families,
Thanks for the kindness, compassion and support shown by our school community during this difficult time for Nat, Lucy and Joel following the loss of their beloved husband and father.
We are grateful to our families for the prayers, messages, acts of kindness and support they have offered. May their generosity be a reminder that even in times of sorrow, we are never alone. If families wish to write a card or message please leave at the office and we will pass these on.
Loving God,
May Nat, Lucy and Joel be surrounded by love, comfort and strength as they navigate the days ahead. May they find peace in the cherished memories they hold close and hope in the care of those who walk alongside them.
Bless our community as we continue to care for one another with open hearts, compassion and understanding. Help us to be a source of comfort and hope for all who are grieving.
We ask that Your love and peace rest upon Nat, Lucy and Joel today and in the months ahead.
Congratulations...
Sue Springfield, a parishioner from St John Vianney's was recognised on the Kings Birthday, with an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for service to the Mulgrave and Springvale North communities.
Sue has had a long association with our school and Parish.
As the Current President of the Green and Brown Thumbs Gardening Club, Sue (and her team) have assisted many of our past students who were once involved in the Club!
As an active member of the school community in days gone by, Sue had been bestowed life membership at Springvale’s regional little athletics and regional netball associations for decades of pitching in.
Sue has also been an active member of the ladies auxiliary at John Hannah Hostel in Mulgrave for more than 30 years.
From all past and current families at SJV we congratulate you Sue on this great honour so richly deserved!!
