YEAR 7
Starting Well

Head of Year 7
As a College, we closely monitor the attendance of all students, as it is often one of the first indicators that a student or family may require additional support. It is important that, when a student is absent, parents/carers provide an explanation to assist us in accounting for the absence.
The most efficient way to notify of your child's absence is via the MyCE app. Alternatively, parents/carers may email smw.office@cns.catholic.edu.au or contact the College by phone 07 4044 4200.
A key element of our Year 7 theme, 'Starting Well', is ensuring all students have access to the many opportunities available at the College, and this begins with students being present for learning during every day possible.
If you have concerns regarding your child's attendance, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at nbrooke@cns.catholic.edu.au.

Queensland Health - School Immunisation - Year 7 Information Sheet
This term, students have been connecting with their College spirit by participating in an activity to perform the College song. Supported by their Year 11 Mentors, students have been preparing a performance of the College song, with the instructions to make it their own with actions, props and plenty of energy!
This week, Pastoral Groups will be teaming up as Houses to bring their performances to the stage and battle it out for valuable house points
